nickturse: U.S. Said to Target Rescuers at Drone Strike Sites A report by the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism found that “at least 50 civilians had been killed in follow-up strikes after they rushed to help those hit by a drone-fired missile,” according to Scott Shane of the New York Times.  “The bureau counted more than 20 other civilians killed in strikes on funerals. The findings were published on the bureau’s Web site and in The Sunday Times of London.” (via London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism) If it’s good enough for terrorists, it’s good enough for US!
